When you registered I sent you the email with the information on accessing this. I will resend it. The deadline was supposed to be April 21 but I don't think they've been too inundated with requests so you can likely still get some ideas.
That's a great service indeed, Trudy. Thx for helping arrange that. Do we get in touch with them directly, or pass our requests thru you?
I better check out the chocolate offerings in Fredericton while I'm there!
Just a reminder that Fredericton Tourism is offering all participating media registrants of the full 2017 PWAC Conference the opportunity to receive personalized one-on-one leads and story ideas to match media members with a specialized expert in their area of interest.
But you have to register and get your request into them by tomorrow, April 21.
Writers can receive one-on-one story development services and Fredericton Tourism will follow-up by creating completely individualized tour and interview opportunities to fit your schedule before, during or after the conference. Say a writer has an interest in 19th century rug hooking. We'll arrange interviews with heritage experts and a visit to off-limits sanctuary areas of the Christ Church Cathedral, a National Historic Site, to see unique, little-known examples of heritage rug-hooking.
I’ve already got my request in for agri-tourism ideas since I do agriculture writing. If you’re looking to make some money to offset some of the costs of the conference this is one way to do it!
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
