PWAC's Administrative Refund Policy

Policy:         Refunds to members and others for memberships, Conference fees, etc., shall be subject to an administrative fee.

Procedure:  Refunds may be authorized as follows:

  • Memberships:  a refund may be authorized by the Chair of the Membership Committee or a motion of the Board if a potential member has pre-paid his/her membership and was either
  • Not approved for membership, or
  • Approved for membership but decided within seven (7) days of being notified of approval not to go forward with membership
  • Conferences (attendance in-person or electronically):  a refund shall be given automatically if a member or other person has registered and paid the registration fee for a PWAC Conference and notifies PWAC not later than fourteen (14) days before the date of the Conference that s/he will not attend

All refunds shall be subject to a twenty dollar ($20) administrative fee.  Membership refunds will not be given once a membership card has been issued.  Refunds will not be given for merchandise or electronic playback access to archived webinars, seminars, professional development sessions or other pre-recorded materials.  Refund requests beyond the above-mentioned cut-off dates shall not be honoured.
